This special Book-of-the-Month Club edition is a signed limited edition of 1,048 numbered copies, featuring the author's signature on the attestation page. Set against the backdrop of international espionage and political conflict, this acclaimed spy novel is an appealing collectible for readers of Cold War fiction and literary thrillers.

Quarto (7" x 10"). Bound in half yellow buckram over green cloth boards, with gilt lettering on a gilt-bordered title block to the upper cover and gilt lettering and decoration to the spine. Finished with reddened edges and yellow endpapers. The attestation page identifies the edition as limited to 1,048 signed copies, with 1,000 intended for sale to Book-of-the-Month Club members.
