Quarto, beautifully bound in 3/4 brown morocco, with five gilt-accented raised bands and an elaborately gilt-decorated spine. The spine includes compartments for the title and author, while the remaining compartments feature extensive gilt ornament. The binding is finished with matching marbled covers and endpapers and a gilt top edge. Corners are slightly bumped and rounded, and the bottom edge is rubbed. Front joint of spine is rubbed as well. A foldout map of Argentina is included at the rear. A handsome illustrated early-20th-century work on Argentina and South America.
