Spine with five gilt decorated raised bands, gilt lettering to second compartment, all others with fancy gilt rule framing a large gilt floral device centered to each compartments. All edges gilt, marble endpapers. Some discoloration to leather, concentrated on edges and corners. Corners rubbed. Pages well aligned. Light foxing seen, mostly to front and rear of text, but seen within as well, affecting margins of some plates. Many beautiful illustrations in this large, heavy book!
