Edgewear, head of spine chipped, with small loss. Evident glue repair to front board, rear hinge starting. Spine chipped with small loss of leather, affecting gilt in title block (see pic). Front pastedown with sticker and pocket residue, torn gutter. Covers scuffed and rubbed. Church Library stamps to front free endpaper, title page, fore-edge of title block, elsewhere.
