New Bedford: Joseph Knowles. 8vo.(5.25" x 8.25") (xvi), 156 pp. Full tan calf with blindstamp rule framing boards. Majority of spine lacking, rest chipped with loss, both boards appear to have been re-attached. Edgewear, corners bumped a rubbed with loss, head and foot (most) of spine chipped. Boards stained, scuffed and rubbed. Both pastedowns show evidence of removal of paper covers. Prior owners name in pencil to first free endpaper. Intermittent foxing, mostly to front and rear of text. An interesting manual of rules for Quakers, developed over several meetings.
