Spine with four gilt rule bands, vol# to gilt decorated green leather to the third compartment, fancy floral gilt devices centered to all other compartments. All edges gilt, marbled endpapers. Edgewear, corners bumped and rubbed with tiny loss to two tips, head and foot of both volumes chipped with small loss (see pic). Both volumes boards starting at foot an inch at most. Endpapers and free flyleaves with multiple prior owners names and dated inscriptions. last leaf of Revelations mis-bound as second page of Epitomized History of The Bible. Bound at the rear of Vol.2 is The Psalms of David in Metre, printed in Glasgow by J. and M. Robertson in 1789. A beautifully bound Bible, with great provenance.
