12mo.(4.75" x 7.25") Nine volumes complete. Half red morocco with generous corners, bright gilt rule to all leather edges, over red cloth boards. Spines with five gilt decoratd raised bands, gilt lettering to second and fourth compartment, large gilt floral device centered to each other compartment. Top edge gilt, marbled endpapers. Edgewear, corners bumped and rubbed. Professional restoration of all joints and several heads and foot of spines, Vols. IX and VI with raised band of spine replaced. A couple of boards with scuffs and/or rubbing. Illustrated with 43 plates and illustrations, 4 of them folded including pedigrees and map, all present.
